Ally could be described as someone who is very anti-social, due to their upbringing which is implied to be not exactly the greatest. But despite this, they have the endless need to help others- Would it be considered a savior complex, or just being that selfless? Regardless, over the course of their life & becoming what's known as a "Dimension Vagabond" (Can also be referred to as Timeline Hoppers, Travelers, etc), their curiosity of exploring the multiverse had gotten them into some very interesting situations; this being no different. The only problem is that the tool that they use to travel; the Dimension Cube, has a random recharge time, though usually would take a few weeks if not months until it's safe to travel again.They like to stay in worlds longer than necessary, thinking "I don't have much to lose if I overstay my welcome.".
The Dimension Cube seems to be a device that was naturally created by something or someone in their original world, whatever that may be; clearly was powerful & generous enough to give Ally such a powerful relic. It creates "doors" to pocket dimensions, which are more or less gateways to other worlds; it's easy to get lost if you don't know where you're going, or if there aren't any "markers" to help guide you, but eventually you'll find yourself somewhere that's safe.. For now.
Detours were common for Dimension Vagabonds, despite the potential risks said detours have- it’s not like Ally had planned on ending up in this unknown world. They had to keep a very low profile when they found themselves in “the lean”, the undercity of Piltover. It didn’t take them long to discover how the use of magic is banned if not illegal, so using their plasmokinesis or dimension cube were extremely strict; better safe than sorry, unless absolutely necessary. Being the natural eavesdropper that they are, there were mentions about how divided Piltover was, something about a substance called Shimmer, & Hextech. Knowing how quick humanity is to wage war upon itself, the hybrid would be willing to prevent any bloodshed, even if they’re from a completely different plain of existence. Empathy, or something like that.They’re very good at being hidden in plain sight, keeping tabs on people that catch their eye & seem to have some sort of impact on the current state of affairs. Whether they choose to make a large impact themselves isn’t entirely known, but even if they were nothing more than a footnote; having a positive influence is all they really wanted, but without revealing their identity. Going by the alias “STAR RIDER”, Ally currently has their curiosity set on the firelights, due to their goals & interesting sets of technology (mainly, the hoverboards, because to be honest they’d kill to have one. ).
It's pretty obvious that Ally is very much anti-Silco, & if possible would align themselves with the Firelights. However, while they can understand Piltover's ban over magic due to the war with the Mages, they can't help but feel more alienated than they already were, finding the potential of Hextech to be the right step in technology advancement; all it needs is the right people to make it work.It reminds them of how Alchemy works in their world; science mixed with magic- Deadly if done wrong, but has its positives. People fear things that can heavily change their lives.Enforcers.. They're mixed on them; on one hand, fuck the police, but unlike their world equivalent, there are genuinely some enforcers who are trying to do the right thing (i.e Caitlyn), & for that there's an odd bit of respect to those who'd risk it all for some peace between Piltover & The Lean.

Ally's true origins are unknown, but Corey reluctantly took them in as their own as it was Vander thought was best for the both of them. Corey & Vander were friendly enough with each other...Corey, however was not the most open-minded, believing Ally to be a liability due to not only their appearance but this firm belief that they had something hidden about them. A curse of some kind, surely. Growing up, Ally was rarely allowed to go out into the streets of Zaun, but they weren't completely isolated. Having friends roughly around their age; Vi, Powder, Mylo, Claggor & Ekko, they were able to learn about the world (though through not the most reliable eyes). Though because of Corey's way of raising them they weren't allowed to spend too much time with the others. But Ally did consider them all friends, best friends even.Good things never last.Ally knew that Corey always had something wrong with him, an alcoholic, & constantly assuming the worst in people, and as they got older, their rebellion streak had started to show. One night, however, things would change. Big changes. They had decided to sneak out, assuming that Corey was asleep, but he had caught them & decided that he's had enough with them. Attempted murder, but Ally's sense of betrayal, fear & rage made them do something they didn't even know they could do; shoot plasma from their very being, striking his neck. Watching him bleed out on the floor is something they will never forget.Of course, their first thought is to find Vander to try & explain everything, but when they found him...He was dead. The kids were nowhere to be seen.Where did everyone go?
Alone & afraid, Ally had decided to completely isolate themselves before anyone discovers what happened to Corey. No body truly knew of their existence, if anything, they were nothing but a myth. Years would go by, doing anything to survive, going under the name of "Star Rider" as to distance themselves of who Ally was. Only rarely keeping tabs on Ekko, who mutually knew the other was alive.They've had a habit of listening to rumors; one caught their interest. Vi was alive, & out of prison after a Piltie released her. Things could be looking up finally. All they have to do now is find her.Wasn't Powder alive, too?
